Yahoo saw its Search Share drop below 10 percent


Well-known web design in Cambodia, Digital Marketing Agency, According to financial analyst notes in June, desktop search declined for the fifth consecutive month after a period of growth in mid-2013. Yahoo has seen its all-time decline in its search share below 10 percent.

Here are the figures for June: Google: 67.6 percent, Bing: 19.2 percent, Yahoo: 9.8 percent and Others: 3.4 percent. These figures exclude mobile search, driving more than 30 percent of total US internet traffic.

Yahoo paid search grew 5 percent from $385 million to $403 million in Q2 compared to the same period of time last year. However, eroding PC search volumes will dampen Yahoo’s future growth opportunity.

StatCounter says Yahoo has a 9.3 percent share of the US mobile search market, Google 85 percent and Bing 5.5 percent.
