Google Executive Team Making a Two-Day Visit to Cuba for the Sake of Open Internet

(Web Design in Cambodia Digital Marketing Agency, restartbox.com)- As cited by a dissident blogger, Google has sent its executives to Cuba with a view to extensively promoting a free and open Internet.

According to reports, the team consisting of Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, Jared Cohen and other two staff met with Cuban officials and independent people in the technology and digital field.

Up until now, only 2.6 million out of a population of 11.2 million have had Internet access, almost entirely limited to government-run centers, foreign companies and tourist hotels. On top of that, they are merely able to explore a limited, state-controlled basket of approved websites.
