Why You Have to Stick with Facebook on Your Advertising?

Web design agency, restartbox.com Since the introduction of Facebook to the world of social media, people have enjoyed and utilised this social network overwhelmingly so much so that you business owners turn to it as the mean of advertising. Unfortunately though, Facebook’s organic page currently reaches plummeting, that is, only some of your page fans can see your posts in their new feeds because Facebook wants to get you spending on your advertisements. So, should you still be investing in your Facebook page? No matter what happens, you had better stick with Facebook for four key reasons.

To begin with, there is no foundation to leave Facebook as you have worked so hard for years to establish a community that you engage with regularly. Why would you just turn that off? That is priceless. Digital marketing agency, restartbox.com

Secondly, it is your customers’ expectation that you would be on Facebook. When they search for your business, they will expect you to be there and to be offering value to them in one way or another. Digital marketing agency, thesnsgroup.com
Also, it is worth considering how valued your fans are going to feel if you deactivate your page. Your existing fans matter a lot, so you should spend time connecting with them.

Lastly, Facebook advertising is affordable and presents real value for money. Thus, although it seems unfair that you are now being forced to pay to connect with your community, it is not too expensive and you can run successful campaigns even on minimal budgets.

How Well You Know about Social Media?

Web design agency, restartbox.com When coming to social media, some people simply say it is like sex, for we are all doing it but few are doing it better. These words are basically a bit provocative in nature but they do make sense since the degree of understanding of social media varies from one person to another. To testify the statement and to measure how much you know about social media, now let consider the following questions together.

Do you ever know that social media is not free? This is becoming more and more a myth everyday. Yes social media is essentially free, but if you want to get noticed, you may have to invest some money into it. Digital marketing agency, restartbox.com

Again, do you know that you cannot get results immediately? Just like anything else, you are not going to see results over night. It takes time to organically build a community on social media and to see the results you want. Web design agency, restartbox.com

And honestly, do you know that goodness of your sites is not related to the frequency of your posts? You may think posting 15-20 times in a day will give you optimal results on your social media. Nevertheless, you should not post the same thing 20 times in a day. This is irritating and will actually worsen your brands.

In short, if you can get your answer right since the first place, you are kind of knowledgeable regarding social media. If not, you should learn more about it to keep yourself up- to-date.

Why does SEO Overshadow Paid Search Marketing?

Web design agency, restartbox.com It is undeniably true that you are often hearing the comparison between SEO and paid search marketing and you may question whether the former or the latter is the better. To uncover your doubt though, you have to bear in mind the advantages each one provides.

Basically, paid search engine is a quick and easy way to get listed on search engines for keywords related to business. It is, however, very expensive since you website owners pay for every click. On the other hand, SEO can help you to save a large amount of money while getting more targeted visitors as it focuses solely on regular organic results. Digital marketing agency, restartbox.com

Also, SEO provides lasting results in the long run but paid search marketing is not able to do so, for you, after the launch of your paid search campaign, may not get any more visitors as soon as you stop paying. Another difference is in the way you attract your visitors. If you use paid search marketing, your website will get visitors because you pay for them. With SEO, you get website visitors because your website is good. More importantly, SEO integrates with social media so that you will get new visitors, which has a positive influence on your SEO campaigns. Web design agency, restartbox.com

How to Avoid Buying Google Penalised Domain

Web design agency, restartbox.com On occasion, you may find it hard to know if a domain has trouble with Google, which more or less triggers the likelihood of being lured into buying domain that has been penalised by the web search engine. However, as Matt Cutts, Google’s head of search spam, suggested, there are workable ways to deal with such state of affair.

To begin with, you have to do a search for the domain by typing the command “site:domain.com” into the Google search bar. If there are no results at all for that domain, it is noteworthy that the domain is showing a sign of problem. Digital marketing agency, restartbox.com

Also, you should search for the domain name since you can learn more about the reputation of the domain. For example, you may find people talking negatively about that domain and learn that it has a history of black hat practices.

Finally, what you have to do is to go to Archive.org and search for the domain. The archive will show you what previous versions of the site looked like so that you can get an idea if the domain has a history of spamming. Web design agency, restartbox.com

For goodness’ sake, if you do not want to dig yourself out of a hole, you should not buy any domain names supposed to be problematic.

Schema Markup code not popular to Websites

Digital Marketing Blog, restartbox.blogspot.com According to a new Searchmetrics study responsible for Google’s U.S. search results in March for tens of thousands of keywords and over half a million web domains, 36% of Google’s search results incorporate Schema.org rich snippets, but only a tiny fraction of websites are actually using the markup code.

The study also found that a third of Google’s search results include “at least one snippet with information derived from Schema.org.” Internet Marketing News, restartbox.blogspot.com

In spite of the data provided by the study, Searchmetrics found that only about 0.3 percent of domains are using the markup code on their websites. Internet Marketing News, restartbox.blogspot.com

“Larger sites” are more likely to use Schema markup but the study does not highlight what makes a site big or small. It is not clear whether small business or websites with technical chops or bigger companies with more skilled webmasters will benefit from the rich snippet opportunity. This has been the concern about Schema.org.
