Smart decives encountered firmware flaw yet data are recieable, says researchers


With recent research, researchers has found out that Tesco Hudl, android devices face a core processor flaw that can remove your personal data, according to Web Design in Cambodia, Digital Marketing Agency reported.

However, the information in the attacked devices, which you deleted, it is just removed from where it has been stored, and it can be recovered.

“All modern gadgets can be flipped into a “flash mode” so the onboard firmware can be updated and data written to the device.” said Mr Munro.

“There’s a flaw in the firmware, which allows you to read from it as well as write,” he explained.

Google said “anyone selling a used gadget should follow several steps to protect information.”

“If you sell or dispose of your device, we recommend you enable encryption on your device and apply a factory reset beforehand,” said a spokesman.
