Brown University discovers a new method for editing photographs

(Web Design in Cambodia, Digital Marketing Agency) – For those who wish to manipulate and edit their pictures and find it hard to do so with software that requires geniuses to complete the tasks, a new research from Brown University will enliven their motivations with the novel method of auto editing photo.

“Programs like Photoshop are really powerful, but you basically need to be an artist to use them. We want anybody to be able to manipulate photographs as easily as you would manipulate text,” said James Hays, an assistant professor of computer science at Brown University.

By using text instructions, the software will be able to automatically balancing the changes of the pictures desired to be edited that normally required skilled artists to achieve. The system is input with 40 commonly changing outdoor features.

This method will be presented in the world’s premier computer graphics conference in Canada this year.
