Tier III Data Center in West Africa 70% completed

MainOne plans to complete Tier III data center in Q3 this year and now the facility is 70% completed. Having finished, the US$40m facility is able to provide 600 rack spaces and redundant power supplies up to 6MVA.

It should be noted that MainOne’s connectivity platform includes metro and international fiber, an internet backbone and interconnection with all the major networks in Nigeria, as revealed by Well-known Digital Marketing Agency.

According to Main One’s CEO Funke Opeke, the facility is being constructed in response to demand for managed computing and network services in West Africa.

The CEO said: “Access to bundled data center services and connectivity solutions from a trusted provider means organizations save the capital costs that would have been needed to build and maintain dedicated data center facilities.”
