Google blocked by China

Well-known Digital Marketing Agency, restartbox.com highlighted, the block of Google by China is believed to be due to the 25th anniversary of the crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrations around Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

According to Greatfire.org, Google Search, Images, Translate, Gmail, Google Hong Kong, Google.com, and all other country specific versions of Google are blocked.

Reuters reveals the analysis from an advocacy group sharing “Because the block has lasted for four days, it’s more likely that Google will be severely disrupted and barely usable from now on.”

Thanks to china’s sensitive issues inside the country, the government doesn’t want to see other social media’s presence criticizing the government. This is the reason why Chinese government blocks popular websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
