Yandex 2014 earnings for the first 3 months


Web design agency, restartbox.com According to Yandex 2014 first-quarter earnings, compared to the same period of time last year, Russian search engine’s revenue increased 36%. Its share averaged 61.9 percent with search queries growing 21 percent and its net income increased 6%, totaling $71.5 million.

As for its advertising revenues, the company reported that its revenues increased 39%. Most of the increase comes from text-based ads and to the lesser extent display ads—92% and 7% respectively. Site advertising was also seen to increase 25%. Web design agency, restartbox.com

Based on Yandex, text-based ad revenues from its own ad network were up 104 percent: Our agreement with Mail.ru to power paid search results is the principal driver of our increase in partner network revenues as well as the increase in growth rate of the ad network.
