eBay Affected by Google Manual Penalty

Well-known Web Design Agency, restartbox.com highlighted eBay is now faced with a big problem with its dropping in Google’s search result. According to Search Engine Land, Google hit eBay with a manual penalty this week. The penalty occurs when Google’s staffs reviews a site and thinks of it as not a good one.

eBay used to be assumed to be hit by Google’s Panda 4.0 Update where a wide-range of sites were with automatic penalties. Therefore, eBay might have been suffered from both Panda and manual penalty. As mentioned by reliable Digital Marketing Agency, restartbox.com

Following Panda 4.0 announcement, not only Moz but also RefuGeeks were also hit with the latter site revealing that eBay had lost visibility on keywords that began with www.ebay.com/bhp in the URL. However, it is now known if the combination of Panda and manual penalty does hit eBay. Google denied commenting on eBay’s situation.
