TDS clinches the deal to buy out BendBroadband for US$261m
Web design agency, restartbox.com In the announcement, telco Company Telephone and Data System (TDS) has signed the agreement to buy BendBoardband for $261 million, but the acquisition is set to be ready in the second half of 2014.
BendBoardband with 280 current employees is US-based full-service communication company offering a range of broadband, fiber connectivity cable television and telephone services for customers in Central Oregon. Digital marketing agency, restartbox.com

In spite of TDS’s acquisition of Benbroadband, BendBroadband’s president and CEO Amy Tykeson convinced the customers that Central Oregon people will not be affected with this acquisition. He said: “I am proud of the customer-centered company we have built over 30 years, and I believe TDS is the right fit for our culture and values and for our future.”
