(Web Design in Cambodia Digital Marketing Agency, restartbox.com)- European watchmaker Swatch Group has played down claims that it was teaming up with Apple Inc. to manufacture a smartphone with interactive functions, addressing the news has no foundation at all.
Prior to the denial of the claims, it was reported that Apple was preparing for the launch of an iWatch in response to the commercialization of smartwatches by Samsung and LG Electronics, with Swatch Group supplying the wearable device.
However, a Swiss watchmaker company’s spokeswoman ruled out the news and made it clear that the only business relationship Swatch Group had with Apple was as a supplier of integrated circuits and other electronic components.
And Swatch Chief Executive Nick Hayek said he was not interested in partnering with a tech group to produce a smartwatch.
